Stress can affect anyone at some point in life. It can be caused by a multitude of factors, often an accumulation of a combination of circumstances and events but always taking a toll on emotional, physical and mental functioning.
My work with clients seeking help for Stress Management involves a process where we look for clues to identify the source(s) of the problem and then build strategies, work to amend unhelpful patterns of thinking or going about life, develop a relaxation toolkit and identify potential helpful changes to work/life balance and self-awareness.
This type of work always involves clients being pro-active between sessions, such as making notes, keeping a journal, experimenting with new ways of communicating, new activities or different ways of being in problem situations.
Sessions take place weekly and last 50 minutes.
